I hide what I cherish; emotions wedged under a stone.
The sense of her touch for me; as yet unknown,
What lies beneath is different from what is shown.
It's been a while since I dared to care,
It's been a while since I cared to dare,
It's been a while since I knew a woman so rare,
With eyes which shimmer and invite,
Comes a voice ever so sweet and light,
A smile which comforts and encourages,
And a drive to satisfy all urges,
She is my medium of hitting renew,

So this Valentine's Day,
I chase the fear away,
And pull you close and say,
I need you right now,
Like the sun needs its shine.
I ask you this now,
So please don't decline,
The moment I see you,
I know all will be fine,
So on one knee I ask you,

Daughter of Hecate,
I was born upon the threshold
of one year and the next:
a tiny earthen creature,
awash in a sea of stars.
Too late did I remember
Capricorn is the goat with
the tail of a fish,
and perhaps my legs were never meant
to tread upon the earth.
I've heard tell
that Saturn is the harshest master,
and will never be satisfied

In the beginning I was sure-footed
as the goat who glitters in stars above me,
ideas sprung full-grown from my head,
as Athena born from Zeus
Too late do I recall
that prophecy foretold,
Zeus' own creation
would surpass even him.

When I'm alone, I have the impression that the world is running out,
that runs in front of me, do not stop even for a moment
