Literature Text

They say Beauty rests in the beholder's eyes,
And it fills mine each time and this I realize,
She possess a beauty which words find hard to summarize,

Yet, at first, something was amiss,
Like the Eiffel tower missing from Paris,
Like a flower yet to be in full bliss,

Her beauty was incomplete to me,
Like a diamond uncut,
I knew there was more to see,
But not sure just what,

So I called on my bravery,
And asked her to smile for me,
And that was the last time,
My heart beat normally,

For after that everything changed,
And my heart had skipped a few,
I told her, "It had to be rearranged,
Simply to make room for you."

Her beauty surpassed any ocean or sea,
Indeed she was that precious to me,

And I stood there in front of her,
And found myself lost for a while,
What else could I do?
I had just met the girl with the golden smile.

I like the rhyme here. Really good.
